Hi, I’m Trey!
I am a holistic practitioner who works with adults and teens from a mind-body-spirit framework. I have a passion for helping clients uncover and integrate trauma stored in the body, through somatic and polyvagal therapeutic approaches. I am also trained in EMDR, a modality which has been shown to be effective for processing traumatic memories. Additionally, I incorporate tools from Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Person-Centered Therapy, mindfulness, and parts work as deemed helpful for individual clients.
In addition, I offer Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) as part of my holistic approach, providing clients with a unique opportunity to access deeper layers of healing via increased neuroplasticity in the brain. Through KAP, I support individuals in exploring and processing trauma, anxiety, expanded states of consciousness, and fostering growth within a safe and nonjudgmental space. (Offering Ketamine Assisted Therapy in late November.)
I understand the importance of witnessing our emotions fully and honoring these emotions as we become more aware of them in the present day. I offer a nonjudgmental space for clients to explore themselves and to develop their most genuine and authentic expression of self.
I have helped many clients shift from self-sabotaging and self-harming tendencies, to healthier behaviors and coping mechanisms. I encourage clients to become accountable to themselves, while meeting them with compassion. I earned a Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of West Georgia.
Trey operates under the direction of Lauren Crawford Taylor, LCSW and under the clinical supervision of Jimi Byrnes, LPC.
